KZN’s Clairwood Logistics park commenced mid-year 2016, developing approximately 350,000 square meters of warehousing with the remainder becoming paved yards to service the facilities. Our scope of works covered not limited to, all the setting out of pockets (platforms) i.e. Pocket 1, 2 being , 3 and 7 together with preliminary survey work on Pocket 4 and asbuilt survey to be submitted to the client for month end certificates and well as liaising with Quantity Surveyors for correctness of the quantities and monthly claims. Setting out internal roads (Spine Road 1 and 2), all the pipe crossings, Trunk sewer, M4 Access road,
Gravity sewer, Transnet pipe casing, MOS for quantities, Monthly quantities for all pockets, internal roads layer checks and layer thicknesses, fire water setting out and asbuilts. We used LEICA TS12 Robotic total station together with LEICA GNSS (GPS).
